"It's going to be an experience," said Robinson, who was asked after arriving in Seattle early to participate in community outreach with the US Army as part of the WNBA's "Be Fit" campaign. Storm training camp opens Sunday. "I know in the fashion world, 6-4 isn't normal and my measurements are so off. For her to spend time to make a dress for me, I'm going to try to stomp that runway for her. I can't wait. She called me her 'celebrity model.' Only in Seattle could I be a celebrity model."
Robinson, 28, always wanted to model, the closest being the 2009 Goodwill Glitter Gala in Seattle. Teammates were unable to attend that event, however. On Friday, Storm starters Tanisha Wright and Camille Little are expected to be in the audience.
